What is RIRS Surgery?

RIRS is a type of surgery where the stone is destructed into small pieces by using LASER and the small stones are removed via the ureter opening.

Yes, in laparoscopic surgery a small cut is made and the kidney stone is removed, this is known as PCNL Surgery, but in RIRS surgery the stone is removed from the urethral opening, so No cuts are made and the patient recovery is faster. 

Can a Big stone be removed from Kidney by Uising RIRS?

Stone size of less than 2 cm can be removed by RIRS, the stones bigger than this need mini perc or PCNL.
